Whitehaven Hall has the history and backdrop that few other locations can provide.
Unexplained happenings, Unusually-cold rooms, dark hallways, and ghostly visions await you...
Whitehaven Hall has over 300 years of history within its sandstone walls, from the original owner Lady Clifton and her Husband Thomas Towerson - a slave trader and merchant, through to Harry Harrison in the mid-1700s, who rented the fourth floor to a Sea Captain.
This Grade II listed building would entice any avid ghost hunter. Now inhabited by the ghosts and spirits that remain here, you will have the fantastic opportunity to ghost hunt overnight and stay on the 4th floor (the old Sea Captains' rooms and servants' quarters) of this sprawling Queen Anne mansion.
Several children's bodies once laid out in the blue drawing room floor, the portraits of countless wealthy and powerful lords, ladies and gentry over the centuries. Said to be haunted by the ghost of a sea captain, there are many sinister stories to these hallowed walls.
